Timing is Everything
Take a moment before you attempt to book a trip, go on vacation, attend a party or sporting event. Sit on a nice pillow inside your gut. Focus on the destination. You will begin to get a sense in your gut of that particular event for you. Does it feel positive? Or negative? Clear your mind and see what thoughts come to you about it. If the event feels positive continue your plans and keep your gut focus and see what insights come to you. If the event feels negative, you might want to use some of those insights to rethink your plans of the moment. Reschedule, decline, etc. and see if your gut feeling changes inside you.
